Visa
VISA Support

ELA offers visa support to those students who require an entry visa to Malta, as well as assisting students in Malta who need to apply for a visa extension. When confirming a booking with ELA and payment for tuition has been successfully received, a letter of acceptance is then issued with which students must submit along with the visa application form.

ELA would require the student's name, date of birth, and passport number. The letter will confirm the type of course, number of sessions/ hours, dates of tuition, and invoice number. If accommodation is also booked through the school, then address and arrival/departure date will also be included on the letter of acceptance.

You can find a list of countries that require an entry visa
here

Where to Apply

In those countries where Malta is served by a Visa Application Centre, applications are to be submitted through the centres listed here

Required Documents

Students who need to apply for/ extend their Visa will need to present documents in English to the Central Visa Unit. Click here for full details.

English Language Academy Malta
The English Language Academy (ELA) has been established as a school since 1988 and is staffed by a team of qualified, dedicated and experienced teachers who are all native or bilingual speakers of English. Direct Communicative Technique methods are used throughout. These are currently considered the most effective systems of broadening the students' knowledge of vocabulary, structures and idioms.
